SMS service - any point?

Hi everyone

Is there much point in the SMS update service provided by UKVCAS. I'm asking because I am assuming I would get these by email? Could someone please clarify?

For naturalisation there's no update service. Next communication is normally the decision email/letter.
UKVCAS have no part in the decision process.
