Hi, I'm irish citizen and lived in the UK for 5 years. I also got settled status under EU settlement scheme. Can I apply for British citizenship now as I'm here for 5 years or do I need wait another year? I think, there are different rules if you are an Irish. Please advise. Thanks

As an Irish citizen you can apply immediately as you are free from immigration time restrictions due to the CTA. refer to page 13 of the guidance: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... pdf#page14
I don’t think you needed EUSS, just need to satisfy all other naturalisation requirements.

Crucially, have you resided in the UK as an Irish citizen for the past five years? That is to say, have you been an Irish citizen for the past five years?

I arrived in the UK and within 6 months became Irish citizen. In total, I have been resident in the UK for 5 years.
