Hi,

A friend of ours basically mentioned that she has ILR from 2013 from being married to a BC and hasn’t applied for citizenship think only when I said we’re applying for my husbands ILR and will immediately then apply for citizenship she’s thought about it!

Anyway her ILR BRP has end date of July 2023 she’s going to apply for citizenship in the next 2 weeks what happens if she’s not heard back by end of July can she still travel?

Thanks for the help

If her brp has expired, no she cannot travel. She will have to apply for a replacement brp before she can travel. It takes between 2 and 6 months for replacement brps to be processed on average.

There is a cost for everything. Nothing is ever free. Not even in Freetown.
