I want to apply for citizenship. I have asked this question last year but I could not understand. Can someone please advise me with smple answer if it is fine to apply for citizenship .

So I have verbal deception in my history .When I did Asylum on 30 August 2012 ,I travelled twice to Pakistan (2009-2012) .they put a deception because I travelled twice to Pakistan and didn't disclose my problem upon arrival, therfore they put it on verbal deception.

What i read in guidance that the first day of deception when know to home office, I may be wrong. I did Asylum on 30 August 2012 ,so counting from that date I should be fine on good character? I was married since September 2013 ,so 10 years of my marriage will be September 2023 and I have indefinite from 2018.

Can I apply now considering some changes to good character or better to wait till September?

Don't worry and apply when 10 years of clean history completed which is September 2023 as you have said. But remember to mention this verbal deception,apologise for it ,assure not to repeat anything like this in future and then request for the grant of citizenship.
It looks like you will be fine .
