Good Day Gents,
I have received my ILR (accelerated route) on 26 October 2022 after 3 years 1 month. Do I need to complete 5 years before applying for citizenship or I can apply for it after 1 year on being on ILR ?
Waiting eagerly for rely.
warm regards,
Shakeb

You need to meet both requirements; at least five years residence AND 1 year of ILR.
That means that you can apply when the last of the two requirements are met.
In your case, that means at least five years after moving to the UK.
Naturalisation is not a part of the immigration pathway, which ends at ILR. Naturalisation is a separate process, with its own laws, processes and requirements.

Topics merged!! You were already advised when you asked the same question in January. The advice does NOT change.
You need FIVE YEAR residence and your qualifying period starts counting from the date you ENTERED the UK in June 2019, if you are not married to a British citizen.
