Your job is to try and convince otherwise. It must look funny to you, for you to bring it up. Most important thing is that you're legally divorced before you get married again.

Please advice ROA might just be faster. All cases are different though.

Please guru I need your advice !
As I am about to apply my child’s ROA there’s technical thing I want to know
Marital status on my Pakistani nadra marriage certificate says Unmarried
( do u think it’s correct as I was divorced that time )
Also in Islamic urdu nikah nama there’s a section about was I married ever and that Nikah registrar mentioned I was never married ( will this be issue )
Do I need to send nadra computerised marriage
Certificate only or Islamic nikah nama with English translation also .
Please advice me I will apply now for ROA for my child and then Spouse visa for wife

If you can officially make the necessary corrections to "divorced", that would be great. Regardless, I don't think that it would affect the ROA application of the child.
You can chuck your divorce papers in the mix to absolve yourself of all sins.

After all, you have nothing to hide. They might just request for DNA to be done during the verification exercise.

Thank u for kind reply , yeah u right they might not ask much for child case
But when I will apply for spouse visa for wife they might ask why it’s unmarried status in marriage certificate instead “ divorcee “ . They might refused wife’s application and because for Home office I didn’t declare I was divorced at time of 2nd marriage in pakistan .
One of the member in this forum faced same and visa was refused check this thread plz

Yeah, you surely need to get that rectified officially. It would save you a great deal of headache on the long run.
Marriage certs are official documents. All declarations are taken seriously. Ignorance is no excuse.

I m greatful how quick I am getting answer from ur side dear .
Just clear me this plz
If my marriage certificate is easy to rectified then definitely I will go for it . So then after correction I need to send only Nadra marriage certificate or urdu nikah Nama as well ??
Also if it’s not easy to correct the marriage certificate or it’s too lengthy process should I and wife made affedevut that it’s a clerical mistake ??
Do u think affedevits would work ?
Thanks

Not sure what all those documents you mentioned are. But I'm guessing that they form part of the marriage cert. Firstly, every document is correctable. It just might take time.

The time it would take to make corrections could save you time wasted plus money on a later date. A stitch in time saves nine. Always nice to get it right the first time.

It's a great thing that you spotted the other thread on this forum, and you've seen first hand how much of a conundrum this can cause. It would be slightly annoying for you to now fall into the same trap.

That's what this forum does help with. You learn from other people's experience.

Definitely this forum is blessing for people like me , I am concluding my query .
I am married from last 4 years in pakistan , 2nd marriage was done after divorce finalised in uk . My child is 2 years old now .
Still do u think my marriage certificate marital status mistake “ unmarried “ cause refusal of my wife’s spouse visa ( keep in mind my child is British by birth and my marriage can considered 4 year relationship as well .) I know it should be mentioned divorce not unmarried .
Please advice
I am in between to decide what should I do
Thanks

Have you clicked and read the links and links within the link at all??

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -a-referee
3.2 Who can be a referee for a customer applying from overseas
A referee for a customer who applies from overseas, must:

pass our automatic identity checks (if they are a digital referee)
complete the 1 page form (if they are a paper referee (1 page form))
complete section 10 of the OS form (if they are a paper referee (countersignature))
They must hold (in order of preference):

a British passport (this includes any variant type passport or British nationality):
that must be current (unexpired) and on Main Index if they are a digital referee
that is current (unexpired) digital, biometric or machine-readable passport (we cannot accept the referee if their passport is an Old Blue passport) if they are a paper referee (1 page form)
that is current (unexpired) or expired but it must be an uncancelled digital, biometric or machine-readable passport (we cannot accept the referee if their passport is an Old Blue passport) if they are a paper referee (countersignature)
a current (unexpired and uncancelled) Irish passport

You need to complete a paper form for overseas passport applications and send it to the address with supporting documents. You will be contacted etc to do biometrics if relevant.

You don't apply at Gerry's.

Leave to persons more knowledgeable on this aspect for further response to you.
