Hello,

My self and kids are British and wife is on ILR for about a couple of years now.

1. Her ILR BRP is about to expire by end of next year. SO, what should I do?. Anything to worry here?. Need to go through all the renewal application process again by spending lot of money?. Fees?
2. What if we want to go for British Citizenship for her?. Do we need to go for Naturalization at first or can directly go for Citizenship?. Fees?.

1. It is the CARD that expires, not her ILR. The card is renewed however they are being phased out from 31 Dec 2024 anyway and it will be a digital status.

2. Naturalisation IS an application to become a British citizen! Fees about£1350

Digital status means, no more BRP and nothing to do from our side right?.
