Dear all,
I have applied registration British citizenship for my son and we are currently waiting for the results (he is 3 years old as his previous BRP has expired).
I have a few questions:
1, Is my son allowed to leave the UK during application process?
2, If he is allowed, how can he re enter the UK as his BRP as expired?

He can leave, but, because
, he is not going to be able to return back.
If you want to travel with your child, you have to apply for a visa and get a BRP for them (the ideal option would have been an extension of his previous visa). MN1 is not an immigration application and does not give a right to stay in the UK on its own.

Look at it from a neutral point of view. Take the UK out of the equation.
Can you child enter your country of origin without a passport or any documents that gives legitimacy to residency?
No airline in the world would carry him. It's a different rule if your entering as a pedestrian (in some countries). Even driving in would be hard.
