Query Regarding Residency Documents for Naturalisation/Citizenship

Hi members,

First post, hence please ignore any silly mistakes.

I am preparing to submit my application for naturalisation/British Citizenship. However, I am confused about the documents to prove my 5 years of residency. Based on the research HO really wants P60s/Payslips and unfortunately because of changing jobs I don't have the P60s for all 5 years. I have P60 for 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2022-23. I have other documents like P45s, Council Tax bills, water bills, Mortgage statements, Bank account statement (to prove I got paid and made payments to mortgage and other utilises), job contracts for the time I have no P60s for.

Can anyone has any experience of a similar situation and/or confirm what other documents can I use to prove my residency?

PS. I have passports but I travelled to EU and my passport wasn't stamped for those visits.

Thanks!

If you are holding UK ILR you just need to provide your passport(s) covering the period. The documents you mention are for EU citizens whose passports didn’t get stamped. Absences don’t have to be documented. You just list them. Note that statements or bills are not accepted for this application.

@Alterhase58 - Thanks for your response.

That's the challenge, I am a non-eu family member (ie spouse) of an EU national and have been on settled status/ILR, hence whenever I travelled to EU and back my passport wasn't stamped.

I just had another look on the documents and it says "If you are a Non-EEA National, you need to include your passport to prove you have lived in the UK for the relevant 3- or 5-year period." Does it mean I don't need any documents apart from passport(s)? Really Confused :(

OK, in that case include P60s where possible, council tax bills are also fine.
You only need one type of document, not more than one per year.
Again, bank statements or utility bills are not accepted.

Thanks again for your response.

Does that mean I can use Council Tax bill for the years I don't have a P60 for?

Thanks!
