I need some information if anyone has experience or relevant information please share your valuable feedback.

My wife is applying for her naturalisation application along with my two sons both are under 15 years old.

1. Wife
2. Son 1 Age 14.10 Years (Born abroad)
3. Son 2 Age 13 Years (Born abroad)


Our queries are;

1) I am a British citizen (received couple of months ago). She has been in the country since in 2012, my Wife and both Sons has ILR from 2020, Can you please clarify if she and sons are eligible via the 3 years route as partner for BC or 5 years?
As spouse of BC (3 years).
2) I believe after my wife application my two sons can be add on the same time?
Correct, once wife has filled in her application additional applicants under 18 can be added. Note that children are registered as BC not naturalised (adults only). The online application will adjust to form MN1.
3) My Wife has cleared the English language requirements (Passed B1 test) when she got ILR in 2020 . I believe That English test B1 is valid for her British naturalisation application? or doe she need to pass again? also Life in the UK should be valid as well?B1 and LITUK taken for ILR can be used again.
4) ''Proof of living in the UK for 5 years if applying in your own right or 3 years if applying as the spouse of a British Citizen'' - is the proof her and their current passport?
Yes.
5) My wife she is house-wife(never worked), she has NI number, For employment what should we state and provide?
Housewife or Unemployed - no issue.
6) I read on this form the that for Children under 18, there is a consent form which both parents needs to signed and submit? would my wife also sign that as she will be the main applicant?
Both parents to sign.
7) what supporting documents would be required for my Sons?

I believe the following supporting documents would be required, please confirm and add if there could be more or less;

Wife Documents
- Marriage certificate Yes
- My British Passport Yes
- Current passport of my Wife Yes only passport(s) covering residency period.( all other expired passports all pages? those have exit and entry stamp?Not required.)
- bank statement of my wife No - and not accepted anyway.
-Bank statement in joint name in the name of my wife with me.No - and not accepted anyway.
-Tenancy agreement No
-Electoral No
-Council taxNo
-Water bill in joint nameNo
-Any other document? Note the application requires only a minimum of documents.

Sons Documents Check MN1 Guidance.
- Current passport of my sons ( all other expired passports all pages, those have exit and entry stamp?)
-Sons birth certificates
-Sons NHS letters
-Sons School letters
- My British Passport

Thanks for your prompt & kind response.

I have recently recieved my British citizenship and British Passport. Can my wife still can apply on 3 years route? she has been in the UK for more than 11 year anyways and has ILR for more than 3 years same my sons. Of course, she could have applied as spouse the day you became British (3 year route).
Can they apply on their own and mention that their husband and father is British? Yes, Your wife applies as spouse, supplying your British passport and marriage certificate, children can be registered anyway with mother (they are entitled).

on the Naturalisation application question about parent details, If we do not remember their exact date of birth or etc. or they have died then can we tick the option I dont have parent details? would it cause any issue?

There is question while filling my wife naturalisation online form "Do you have any dependants not applying with you at this time?" We have two sons under 18 who also need to be added.

I believe we need to answer NO to this question. Is that correct?

For child applicants at least one of the referees must be a person who has dealt with the child in a professional role such as a teacher, doctor, health visitor or social worker. Where a child cannot provide a referee who has dealt with them in a professional capacity and has provided documents to show that they have attempted to do so, you can accept 2 referees who meet the criteria for referees on adult applications.

I have seen this at Home office guidance rule too.

I believe you meant by "Yes" that if you cannot find professional referee such teacher or etc than referee of adult can be used?

Document proof that someone is not willing to share their personal details etc. that's difficult to get as we spoke to teacher and GP over the phone.

Though I have mentioned this in the covering letter.

Do you or anyone things would there be any issue after even explaining why adult refree has been used?
