Circumstance change after submission

Hi all.

Does anyone know what to do regarding an unforseen change of circumstances that occurs after your biometrics appointment???

My biometrics was July 28th, but I think I got a speeding ticket yesterday. I thought I was still in a 40 zone....it was an exhausting week and I hadn't clocked the 30 signs and realised it after passing a camera. I think I was going 36...def not more than 40 as that's what I thought it was. So if I get it, it will only be a band A.

But, I was in a hire car for work...so it could be several weeks before I know as the ticket will go to the hire company, then my employer before it gets to me. (I really hate how long it takes to know here.)

If and when I get it, should I try to update the home office about it as I doubt I will have received a decision by then? If so, how can I do this?

Or will it not matter because it happened 3 weeks after fully submitting???

Until you know what is happening (if anything) don't do anything.
If you are offered a Speed Awareness Course take that (cost £100+) this will not be recorded as a traffic violation, doesn't need to be declared (not even to your car insurance company).
If you do get a ticket and fine, best to settle it, and inform UKVI (use one or all of these email addresses: british-citizenship/nationality-enquire ... l#p2093594.
This shouldn't be an issue, as long as everything else is ok, i.e. no repeat offending, no unpaid fines, no other "good character" issues.
Haven't seen any cases where applicant was refused for one ticket.
