English language test

Hi,

I got an exemption from using IELTS for my ILR as a medic. Now, when I am applying for citizenship, it says on the form I can’t use my old IELTS as it wasn’t used for ILR. Is this true, and are we being made to pay double for a stupid clause they added?

Thanks

If the test is older than 2 years or wasn't required for an immigration application then you would need to provide a new test.

Hi,

I used it for my Tier 2 application in 2017 but didn’t use it for ILR as was exempt. Can I still use it.

If used for a previous application that was successful can be reused however with you being told you can not use it as it was not part of evidence for ILR suggest go for Trinity College SELT at Level B1.
