English Proficiency Level requirements

Nationality: Indian
Current UK Visa status: ILR since April 2014
ILR Expires: April 2024
Degree Qualification: Masters completed in India in 2005
I'm now planning to apply for Citizenship, when I looked up online the english language requirements point me to ECCTIS to apply for certificates. When I got my PR in April 2014, I did not submit NARIC letter but my masters degree from Indian University was accepted as a qualification. I also passed my life in the UK in 2014.
(i) Do I need to apply for ECCTIS certificate now to prove my english proficiency?
(ii) Do I need to take up life in the UK again now since it's been 9 years?
(iii) Will my application refused since I only have ILR valid till 10-Apr-2024?
Any help or input would be really appreciated.

Did you get ILR (via UK Immigration Rules) or PR (permanent residence through EU regulations)?
Just checking since you mentioned PR.

Not familiar with ECCTIS, however I believe you can rely on a qualification you have provided previously - check the appropriate option in the application.
(ii) Do I need to take up life in the UK again now since it's been 9 years?
LITUK test doesn't expire - do you still have the certificate or ref. number?
(iii) Will my application refused since I only have ILR valid till 10-Apr-2024?
No (assuming you are under UK ILR) - ILR doesn't expire ("indefinite") - presumably that's the date on your BRP card. It's the card expiry.
Any help or input would be really appreciated.

Thanks very much for your quick response. I still have the LIT UK certificate with me. Regarding ILR expiry, it all makes sense now, it's just the card not ILR validity, thanks for clarifying. ECCTIS seems to be the new form of NARIC, hopefully I will not need one. Thanks again

There is need to meet English language requirement. My opinion ECCTIS or B1 English certificate required. The latter may be faster of the 2.

Thanks for your response. Would you know if B1 certificate requires training before appearing for exams?

Use search engine to check for Trinity College London SELT GESE B1.
Also, you may check YouTube to see the short video of what the speaking and listening looks like.
