Mistake in application about referee

Hello Everyone
I am currently preparing british citizenship application for my children, about referee for kids as per requirement it must be one who have engaged with children like teacher, without notice I have submitted the application with my family friend as a reference, now I have got the correct reference letter from school teacher.
question: shall I submit the family friend referee document as I per the submitted application? or how to rectify in the submitted application. do I need to write in a covering letter? if yes could you please help with some format and address details to whom I need to address the letter

Your family friend should be fine. It's repeated almost daily here that the HO aren't fussy about kids. If that doesn't work, which is highly unlikely, then use the teacher as standby.

Hello Everyone
I have submitted my kids applications for citizenship on 10th of June and received the acknowledgement on same day by UKCAS center. until now I haven't received any feedback or reply from home office.
what is the timeline for citizenship application? how to check the status of the application?

You cant check the status.
It can take up to 6 months, this is clearly published on ukvi website
