Wrong information filled in Natuarlisation form

Hi All,

I have filled out my naturalisation form and also paid the Naturalisation fees.
I have put my employment status as Self-employed instead of filling it as Employed.

I have two questions. I would appreciate it if someone could help
1. What should I add to the cover letter? Is there a format that I can use to explain the mistake?
2. What documents should I attach now for Tax purposes? It asked for the "most recent tax year account statement and corresponding HMRC tax return as proof of self-employed." Given that I am full-time employed, what document should I submit and for how many years?

Thanks for your help.

1. There’s no requirement for a covering letter as such. Just explain what needs correction in an informal note, do put your name and ref number on.
2. There’s no requirement to provide documents for tax purposes as an employee. You prove residence. ILR holders provide their passport(s) covering the residency period.

Thanks for the information.
The reason why i asked / thought tax document is required cos when i stated i am self employed it asked me for annual tax statement.

That’s a normal requirement but only for self-employed as they don’t pay tan and insurance through PAYE.
