Hi,

Does one need to wait for any time (like weeks) after acquiring ILR to apply for naturalisation if one has a British spouse.

You can apply as soon as you have one of the following:

indefinite leave to remain (ILR) in the UK

See the list of accepted professions, page 24: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... als_v4.pdf

The list contains "councillor: local or county" and "local government officer" - the latter I assume is a higher grade of manager. Alternatively find a another referee who matches one on the list.

What level does a Local govt officer starts from if a Project Lead/Manager is not an officer.

Sorry can’t give any info on job levels, best ask your referee to see where he fits in. I’m just going by what is published. “Easy” professions are where people need to be members of professional bodies, such as accountants, solicitors, registered nurses, even ministers of religion.
