UKVCAS IDV app waiting time

Hi Folks,
Hope you all are doing well!
Question: how long should we wait for UKVCAS IDV app email notification before attempting to book an appointment?
They sent 2 welcome emails, one of them saying "If we send an email to your UKVCAS registered email address called 'Important information about your application to UKVI, then you can do it via app".
