Cover Letter

Hello all,

I have a question regarding the cover letter.

I applied for ILR as Tier 1 (General) in 2013 and this was refused due to no evidence of enough funds. As I had provided all the evidence and this was probably missed by the case worker, I appealed. The judge overturned the refusal and I was granted ILR in 2015. I am planning on applying for naturalisation now.

My question is: Do I need to mention this in a cover letter or will it be considered I am not of good character if I don't even though UKVI will have this information?

I truly appreciate you all taking the time to answer my query.

Thank you.

Shouldn't do any harm to mention it, but I don't think it will effect your application as such.
Whether UKVI have a record of this is anybody's guess.
