Dates at previous address

Hi All,

I am filling in my application for British Citizenship, and I struggle to find the accurate answer to the dates I stayed in my previous address, due to the difference between the dates per tenancy agreement and actual move-in/move-out dates.

The contract was signed for 12 months from 23/08/2019 to 22/08/2020.

However, I physically moved in on 08/09/2019 and left on 12/07/2020 (moving into my current address).

Which dates should I fill in the form? Do I need to attach a cover letter to explain the above difference?

Suggest use move in/out dates. Can't see this as a material issue.

You don't need to provide the tenancy agreements, only move in/move out dates are enough, at the best of your recollection.

As above.... the dates you actually lived at addresses.

I would clarify any anomalies of data/facts such as this in a cover letter but only if a case worker looking at your application will see such and I am not sure they would regarding contractual documents for residence as I cannot see a reason you'd supply them as evidence.
