HNY to all,

I am in a process to apply ILR on 5 years skilled worker visa basis but I have questions to clarify,

1- My 2 kids born in UK but have not applied their visa as I had no plan to visit but planning to apply their citizenship once I got the ILR, Am I on the the right track?
2- If my ILR application is successful then what's the process to apply citizenship/Passport for my kids? Please also share the link 🙂
3- Do they have to go through the naturalization or something else please advise what steps I must take once I got the ILR?

Your assistance with links would be really appreciated.

TIA,

That's fine. They neer to be registered via MN1 once you get ILR - https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... n-form-mn1
Read the guidance - https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... 1-guidance

Also, while they hav no visas, they can't access NHS for free, just keep that in mind.

Am I on the the right track? Yes.

Yes - in principle - refer.understand the guidance - https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... t_2023.pdf
Online Application form MN1: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... 1697705242
Passport can only be applied once they are British.

Note as they have no residency document you may be asked to pay extra for NHS treatment they may need - consider health insurance until they are registered0

3- Do they have to go through the naturalization or something else please advise what steps I must take once I got the ILR?
Naturalisation is for adults - children are registered per the above guidance (it is sort of naturalisation).
Children apply using form MN1.

Thanks @meself2 ... I'm too slow at typing.
