NARIC to be used for Naturalisation

Dear members,

I recently got my ILR few weeks back. I was formerly on the PBS dependent route (t2).

My partner is now British Citizen.

My main question is
1) Can I apply for Naturalisation immediately without waiting for a year?

2) Can I use old NARIC letter/certificate to prove my english language proficiency? I have used this together with my Bachelor's degree certificate together with a short note from the University that the mode of instruction is in english.

The Naric certificate does not however say anything about my proficiency in english, only the Statement of compatibility in which my Bachelor's is comparable to in the UK.

Would it be sensible to take a B1 test instead or proceed with the above as it was what I used to proved english language proficiency from my PBS dependent route to ILR.

Thank you in advance for sharing your year's of experience and understanding on this matter.

Yes you can apply now, and your NARIC letter should be OK with the certificate from your University that the course was taught in English. In case UKVI has an issue with it, they would email you after you sent in the application and ask you to take a test.

As you have used it successfully in the past, it should still hold up to meeting the requirement.
