Another referee question

Sorry to bother you. I've already checked the list of "Acceptable professional persons". But not totally sure in my case.
The two people I'm looking to put forward:
My team manager, British citizen.
A friend, who recently became a police officer. Romanian citizenship.
If someone could shed some light here, I would be extremely happy.
Thank you.

Well, you have seen the list of acceptable professions - which applies to one of your referees?
Police officer is on the list - what's the issue? This information is published so you can use it.

If your team manager is more than 25 years old, and if your friend is a police officer is in the UK, that should be straightforward.

Got confused with the wording on that referee requirements text. Respectfully, I would've worded things a bit differently.
Somehow I misunderstood, thought both referees need to be of accepted professions.

Thanks makes sense now
