ILR to citizenship

Hi all after being on a spouse visa for 5 years I received my ILR in December which is valid until December 2024.
When can I apply to be a British citizen and can I keep my American citizenship as well?

If you meet the requirments, you could have applied as soon as you got ilr.
Why wouldn't you be able to keep your us citizenship?? Rhe us and rhe uk allow multiple citizenships. The uk also has no authority to remove your us citizenship

US and UK allow double citizenship so that should be fine. If your spouse is British you can apply straight away.
