Hello,

I'm preparing to submit my application for citizenship, however, I'm stuck with evidence for proving my residency within the 5 years.

** I discovered that passport control started stamping eu family members from 2022 onwards.

1. I have UK stamps on my passport from jan 2022.
2. I have no UK stamps on my passport from jan 2019 till dec 2021

I guess for the period of 2022, 2023 I could rely on my stamps to provide the residency.

but in regards to 2019, 2020 I was a university student and 2021 was not working ( I have no P60) however I have council tax for all 5 years

Will council tax be enough as proof? or do I need to provide additional means on top of council tax?

Thanks for your help

Council tax will work. alternatively you can get a letter from your university confirming your attendance.
