Mixed council name in naturalization application

Hi,

Just noticed that I mixed the council name in my naturalization application (put Gloucestershire rather than South Gloucestershire).

Is this going to be an issue with the application? I don't mind doing my ceremony in Gloucestershire as it is not far but I wonder if it won't cause issues or delays. According to the timeline, I expect the application to be considered soon.

No it won't cause any problem. Just book your ceremony with the council you choose.

Also if you want to change the council you can email Home Office now, or tell Gloucestershire Council and request a transfer when they book you in, but either way will cause a delay.

If it's not a big deal for you, I suggest you attend the ceremony there to avoid delays and mix-ups. Easy mistake to make. At least you didn't select Glasgow!
