Hello All, This Great forum helped me alot in the past. Thanks for it. Can someone please help me with query. A few months ago i reported a bad neighbour to council for antisocial activities because he wont lesson. so what you expect? He mind that and that bad person made false, bogus call to police from anonymous number and mede false allegation that he heard shouting from our house. I did not know and police came to our house back then i did not know why they came, They told me all this that someone called them about some disturbing. I was very shocked, they took our details then ask my wife if she had any problem and we both were very shocked why there came here. Any way they took out details and then they realised it was a false call. After they gone i realize that it was that bad neighbour who did this. I then called the police myself and explain the whole story. Nothing happened after that. ✋ Now i come to my question, My wife applied for Naturalization in September 2023 but we have not received any decision yet and i can see many people received their approval applied around that time. My wife immigration history is very straight forward but now this delay start worrying me. What I explained above can delay or effect my wife application? Even nothing happened when police came due that false call from that bad person but took our personal details which i think is their standers protocol but i just thinking how UKVI will see this.
Please share your opinion on this . Thank You.

You haven't been arrested or convicted, so i don't think this will have an effect on your application. it is a stressful wait, but you are just around the 6 months mark. soon you will be able to chase by pursuing the actions in this thread british-citizenship/6-months-plus-waiti ... 43483.html

No that won't affect your application in any way. Police came to me once as well because of a potential hit-and-run. Police found my car on CCTV footage, went to my home and took my details, but that's it. If no further action was taken by the police you won't be affected at all.

There won't be any negative impact on your wife's application.
