Passport Application - Changing Name

Hi Administrator,
Apologies if this has already been discussed earlier.
I'm completing an application for a new passport for my toddler as we would like to drop one of his middle names on his passport. We have all the supporting documents including the deedpoll.

1) While completing the form I came across the question asking if the child is known by any other name" for which I answered Yes, this then leads to next question which requested for his previous and new names (in the format of given Names and Last name). However the space provided for the given names is not sufficient for his previous given names as it appears on British citizenship certificate and old passport.

for instance If previous Given Names are: Joshua Builderson Williamson and Previous Last name is COKER then his new Given names as reflected on a deedpoll are: Joshua Builderson (dropping off Williamson) while last name remains COKER.

How do I enter the section for his previous given names(Joshua Builderson Williamson) as the entire names didn't fit into the space provided? Thanks

If the text box doesn't allow for the full name, explain in a cover note.

If you remove the spaces will it be contained in the space? If yes that's sufficient, it will be treated, if not, cover letter
