Hello,

The form and guide is unclear whether the supporting documents for proof of identity needs to be originals or if certified copy is sufficient? Applying by post using paper application.

Also planning on submitting certified copy of certificate of naturalisation or do they need original?

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... 5-2024.pdf

Section 1: Evidence of identity: required for all applicants - you may provide either:

your passport

national identity card

Home Office travel document

Home Office entitlement card

Home Office ARC letter

your birth certificate

your driving licence

B(OTA) - registering as British citizen, applying from abroad as naturalized BOTC. Paper application as online is not available if applying from abroad.
