Hi anybody would help me ? I am thinking of applying for citizenship for my daughter. We are a family of 4. My daughter got ILR in 2021 based on a 10-year-long residency. She came to the UK at the age of 4 in 2011. She is now 17 years old and has been in the UK for about 13 years. My wife is a British citizen, and my son is also a British citizen who was in 2010 in the UK.
However, I am still on a spouse-dependent visa and will be in this category for five years in 2026. Then, I am considering applying for my ILR. However, I have been in different visa categories, such as student, tier 1 general, etc. I have also been in the UK since 2007.
Given our family's circumstances, I would greatly appreciate your professional advice on whether our daughter is eligible to apply for citizenship. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Yes, if
6.6 Children who have lived in the UK for more than 10 years
is satisfiable, then
registering under Section 3(1) is possible. Do it now, before her 18th birthday.

Hi,
Would appreciate your advice.
My child has ILR -24/-12-2024
Pakistan passport expired in April 2024
NICOP valid till 2019
If I apply for her uk citizenship do I have to renew her Pakistan passport or not? Though she got NICOP (ID card for travel to Pakistan )
What is the current fee for a child under 16?
Your reply will highly appreciate

You should open your own thread to ask questions. A valid passport is not required to apply for citizenship though your child won't be able to travel without one. Strongly advise not to make travel plans until your daughter gets approval if you don't want to apply for a Pakistani passport for her. Registration fees for under 18 are £1,214 plus £130 if the child turns 18 during the waiting time.
