I am doing mine and wife's Online Naturalisation applications from my login. I have answered question about criminal convictions however when started wife's application as 2nd applicant this question is not anywhere in the form there are other similar question e.g Sex offender register, war crimes , terrorism etc.
She have 6 penalty points 3.5 years back so is it ok to proceed if its not asked or It should be disclosed as other information about application?

Thanks. Sure I don't have any problem doing the same however What is the legal point of view and experts opinion if someone don't want to give information which is not asked for. I noticed many times experts advise not to give extra details and stick to answering to the point for questions asked. If this information is that necessary it should have been asked .

Non disclosure of one as described above and found out by HO could be taken as deception.
The "didn't ask, I won't tell" disposition in this case is akin to a catch 22.

:) Thanks for the reply. Still there is "uummmmm" . I removed the application, add again to fill again but still same thing this questions is not there. HO must need to review this to save applicants going in catch 22 situation.
regarding "if HO finds out" , C.Worker has to go through many red tapes to go after something they dont' have a clue about. however at the end its the applicant who needs to stay legally so has to provide information for own sack :)

The form is not consistent, the fact that the question doesn't appear doesn't waive the good character requirement. So advise to disclose in a cover letter as it definitely is relevant information. I don't see the reason for not disclosing - case worker would just have to run a check through DVLA data, something they most certainly do for all applicants as it's a govt agency, to find out. You know it is a requirement so I would disclose and keep peace of mind.
