British Citizenship for adult and children + Passport name issue

TIMELINE

2015 October - My husband and I and our 5-year-old son move to the UK pre-Brexit for work reasons. All of us are dual US/EU nationals so no visas are needed.
2017 August – Our daughter is born in the UK.
2019 November – We are all granted Pre-Settled Status through the EU Settlement Scheme.
2020 November – We are all granted Settled Status through the EU Settlement Scheme.

We have all lived in the UK since 2015 with no gaps in residency.
My husband intends to apply for naturalisation and register our two children for citizenship. This is with my consent. I’m not submitting an application with them because I have a document name nightmare (see question 2) to sort out first.

QUESTIONS
1. Am I correct in thinking our daughter will need to be registered using the MN1 form and is not considered an automatic citizen?
2. My US and my EU passports have different names. My US passport is in my married name JANE SMITH-DOE and my EU passport is in my maiden name JANE SMITH. The EU Passport office will not issue a passport in my married name.

My EU Settlement docs and UK docs are all in my maiden name.
My understanding is I MUST have both passport names match when I apply for naturalisation. Is this correct?

3. Will my different passport names cause issues with my family's applications?

Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

QUESTIONS
1. Am I correct in thinking our daughter will need to be registered using the MN1 form and is not considered an automatic citizen? Yeah, she needs to be registered. She was born before you had permanent residency.

You can apply for British citizenship first. You really don't need the UK passport yet, you just need the citizenship. You can sort out the passport at a much later date if you wished. But the HMPO might not issue you a British passport because of you US passport that has a different name.

3. Will my different passport names cause issues with my family's applications? Nope

Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
