Children referee

Hi, I'm doing my children british citizenship and I would like to know if is ok to use a person that was their stepmother in the past as a referee. She's not anymore with their dad but has a daughter with him that is a half sibling with my children.

I would suggest you find another referee.
You cannot use someone related through blood or marriage.

She's not related by blood to my children and never was married to their dad. You mean because of their half sibling?

Find another referee to avoid delays. There is a family link, you cannot use family no matter how far down the link is.
