Hello Guys,
Thank you for your valuable insight in this forum. Much appreciated.
Just a question and i will appreciate your valuable response . I applied for BC naturalisation few month ago , just before the application was submitted . Police came to my house around mid dight to arrest me for stalking which i was surprise by that tbh , this was due to sending flowers , emails and printed frame pictures to my ex . She claimed contacting her is causing her distress . Story my life ! The intention was to win her back , i had to accept she has moved on . Anyway police came to my house to arrest me for questioning at the local police station , i told them i cant sleep my girl alone in the house as this was late in the midnight and no one is available to look after her so i was de-arrested because of that i guess . They asked what i do for living etc and they asked i should come in to the local police station for interview .
I went ahead to submit my application, the interview was actually few weeks after submitting the application . I didnt state the in my application or cover letter that i was arrest and de-arrested i thought this might not be neccesary until lately i read few instance of applicant not declaring this situation in their application .
In a nutshell , the police officer made a decision that i should write a letter to the victim that i wont be contacting her again . Basically she said the decison is called restorative justice- ( Low crime) . The case didnt go to court. I didnt get any sheet or letter from the police . It was a phone call to let me know i should write the letter to the victim . Again this happened a month after submitting the application.
Applied for DBS ( Basic) and SAR - ACRO ( Police National Record) . No Caution Reported or recorded . But I dont have SAR from Local Police Record.
Am a bit worried Do i need to write a cover note to explain this situation before decision is made ? I dont want
Your swift response will be much appreciated here as always.
