Good morning everyone,
I have tried looking for answers to my questions on the forum but I can't find it.

My friend's daughter was born in the UK, never held any passport or travel document and have never left the UK since birth.
The child turned 10 years old two weeks ago and her mum recently got leave to remain (20years route). Her father disappeared since pregnancy with no contact whatsoever.
The mother is looking to register the child as a British citizen but not sure what form to use.

Does she use Form MN1 or Form T?

On the application form where it ask for the child's nationality, can the mother write British citizen as the child has never held any passport. The mother is from Zambia.

Thanks for your advice as always
