Hello everyone,

First of all ,I want to thank this amazing platform which helped with real solid advises over the years. Honestly better than lawyers and it's free.I was on skilled worker sponsorship and now I got my ILR with my 8 years old son who born outside UK.so my son spend a total of 2 years so far in the UK and I send him back home last year .
My question is, Could I send him back again ,back home and bring him just before I apply for citizenship and he will be eligible to apply with me . Or that not the case.
Also could I apply for citizenship after six months only as some people are saying or I have to wait for the full year.

Thank you guys again for your amazing help.

What is the UK immigration status of the other parent? And does the child have ILR?

Children born outside the UK follow the immigration pathway of the second/less-privileged parent.

In order to register as a British citizen, the child and the other parent both need to have ILR and you need to be applying for or have received British citizenship.
