Put old 'PR document' number instead of Settled Status reference number

Hi

I have submitted my application, but have just realised I made a mistake:

I have out an old 'PR document' number in the application instead of the 16-disit Settled Status number which was issued subsequently. I have a copy of the Settled Status letter from Home Office with the 16 digit reference number, will this be sufficient if I attach this with a covering letter and upload to the application or would it be better to cancel and make a new application?

I have also answered NO to question if I have made previous UK immigration applications as I thought this was about the naturalisation, but I have previously applied for the Permanent Resident Status so should I also include this in the covering letter?

What are the chances that this application will still be approved and not rejected?

thanks

Can you still upload documents?
If so write a covering note explaining the error.
Load with your other documents.
You cannot be refused! You have settled status. And prior applications are “if known”.
Applications are not refused for minor errors. There has to be good reason, generally for not meeting statutory requirements.

ok thanks for that, yes I am still to upload the documents and go for biometric appointment

I will write a covering letter and explain the error and attach the Settled status letter with the reference number.

Just one more question - I have had 3 motoring convictions for speeding all in the past and paid fines, it was 2007, 2010 and 2013, do I need to attach any letter or confirmations that I have paid these fines or is this enough that I included them in application and added note that 'fine paid and penalty points expired'

I am not sure if I could get the proof of payment as its so long in the past

thanks and appreciate your speedy answer

Lucas

Re: motoring fines.
In my view they are so old (over 10 years) that there's no need to list them - they have all "expired" by now and would have been cleared from any register. Of course, if you are nervous about these, you are free to disclose, missing payment proof is not an issue. You can explain these on your covering note. It won't have any impact on your application.
