Few questions about citizenship documents

Hi, I've got 2 questions regarding the documents for a citizenship application:

- On the documents section, it's asking for my passport provided by my home country. It says that the provided passport must be original i.e. not a copy, but then 2 paragraphs later it says to not send the Home Office anything unless requested, so how am I meant to give them the original passport if they don't want anything sending? It mentions that documents can be scanned at the biometric appointment so I thought that maybe I take it there?

- For proof of living in the UK for 5 yrs, would this be enough?
P60 for 23-24
P60 for 22-23
Student Finance letter for 21-22
P60 for 20-21
Student Finance letter for 19-20

Thanks

You only upload scans of your documents. The scan must be of an original. You will need to show your passport as a form of ID when you attend the appointment.

P60 for 23-24
P60 for 22-23
Student Finance letter for 21-22 Not needed
P60 for 20-21
Student Finance letter for 19-20 Can you ask your uni to write a letter confirming you were enrolled and attended lessons? Student finance letters are not accepted and you need a piece of evidence for your residence in 2019/2020. Please note that you only need evidence of residence if your passport doesn't get stamped when you leave/enter the UK, otherwise scans of all your passport pages will be enough,

Thanks

Ah I thought they would be. For 21-22 I can get another P60 as I worked for a few months in that time (only April till December 2021 would be covered here though as I went back to uni in September 2021 and did a few part time hours between then and December, but no more after then)

I can probably get something from my uni. Do you know by any chance who at a uni could provide that ? Like is there a team for it or something

Thanks

Contact your department, they will direct you. A P60 covers the whole financial year regardless how long you worked that year. Either way if you get a letter from your uni that will cover the whole period you were enrolled.

Great thank you I've just contacted them

A side question not fully related to documents, do I need to have a BRP for the application or can it still be successful without one? I stated that I don't have one and looking at pictures of them I don't remember ever having one. I've been in the UK since 2007 and have settled status, gave them the reference number from this too

If you have settled status it may well be you were never given a BRP (I didn't have one, I am an EU citizen and my application was successful). Just state you don't have a BRP.
