Schedule of absence - help with form

I am filling in the forms online for my naturalisation application. As only whole days count towards absences, should I only put the full days I was absent? Even if the arrival/departure are on other days?
For example:
Depart UK afternoon of July 1
Arrive USA July 1
Depart USA July 10
Arrive UK July 11
So my trip covers 11 days, but I was only absent for 9 whole days. Will the system take this into account?
Previous application details

I am applying for my citizenship by naturalisation, and the application asks for details of my previous immigration applications. I have many, but only details of the last two as previous ones I do not have details of the applications, only the visas in my passport. I know I had my fingerprints taken, but not the date either. Is there leniency on writing that down, as long as I state the visa approval dates? I have absolutely no idea when I applied for them!

You were absent 9 days, just by looking at the dates you provided. Nothing to worry about.

Provide information as far as you have it or remember. This is an “if known“ question, not something you could be refused on. You could add a covering not to explain. Not an issue.

All these dates and details are "if known". Write all you remember at the best of your recollection.

Ah, this is just an example of one trip.
proving residence during covid

I am applying for naturalisation over the period 2019-2024. I have a lot of evidence from P60s after 2021, and an employer letter from 2019-March 2020.
However, during covid I was unemployed and subletting (no contract, no council tax, no bills) from March-September 2020. I did a lot of volunteering with a local food charity but they are now defunct so can't vouch for me (even if that would have counted?) I did not seek unemployment benefits. I didn't ever see a GP face-to-face, so no appointment letters, though I have one for a phone appointment. The only evidence I have is bank statements, which fortunately say SAINSBURYS LONDON about every three days. Also, one of my referees was my housemate during this time.
Do you think that's enough evidence?

show that your
absences were not more than the permitted limits?

During COVID, the borders were shutdown. You probably couldn't fly out even if you wanted to. If you could, it would've been very expensive with the quarantine rules. No GP appointments, or hospital. You just need to evidence that you were in the UK before the lockdown.
I think the openings started around tail end of August, even then it was skeletal.

Excellent, thanks. My employer letter states I was working for them until April 10 2020.

I am not sure you can use someone who currently lives with you as a reference, though if you don't live in the same place anymore that will be fine.

Not sure there's a law against that. People live with friends all the time.
Your referees must not be any of the following:
Be a relative
Be a solicitor representing you on your citizenship application
Be related to your other referee
Be employed by the Home Office
Have been convicted of an imprisonable offence in the last 10 years
