Good morning - My child becomes eligible for Naturalization application in November this year, but his home country passport expires in October. Do I need to renew his home country passport before applying for his Naturalization or can I submit the application with his expired passport without any negative impact to his Naturalization application decision?

Firstly, naturalisation is for adults (form AN) - children register as British using form MN1.
The expired passport can be used. Attach an explanation why it hasn't been renewed. No negative impact

Please review the MN1 guidance: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... 1-guidance

If the child is an adult (over 18), no impact anyway - but need to apply with form AN.
