Hi all, I’ve applied about month ago for British citizenship, just remembered that a year ago I had a call from enforcement saying there is an outstanding bills for council tax not paid ( previous house ) , so I have contacted council and sent them a clear email with all payments as I haven’t missed a single one ( never received letter from Court at least to where I live ) then received a letter from council that they actually owe me money as I overpaid, letter was showing my full payments vs court payment ( not sure why ) which ended up in credit for my benefits, should I send email to home office with a cover letter? My credit report is clear and also I have requested a report from trust online and it comes clean!

You settled the matter so in my view no need to disclose.
When you say "enforcement" do you mean debt collection (council or other service)?
You also mentioned court - was there a judgement against you?

I have never had any CCJ sent to me, just had a call from enforcement maybe they just start process before they go to court, the case was closed and I had email straight from them saying case is closed and sent back to council, couple days after received a letter saying that I actually own them money! I have a run a report on myequifax and there is nothing there and actually my score is very good as per what they saying, report says, never miss or have any later payment no CCJ against me for all previous address including the address where council said you didn’t pay bills.

You will be ok.

Don't worry - the notice was probably sent in error. You have records that you paid everything including a letter from the council. no need to disclose.
