Time spent outside calculation

Hello,

In the application form, under the section of Trip Outside the UK, I noted down my travel history during the last 5 years.

In that section there was a note stating that "You don't need to tell us the trips which are 2 days or less".

I want to clarify the following situation:
I visited France for 5 days (which I disclosed) and from there then took a flight to Italy, stayed there for a day and from there I flied to my home country.

Since my time in Italy was less than 2 days, I didn't mention in the application.

I noticed that due to this, the system may have miscalculated my time spent outside the UK.

What is the right approach here? Should I have disclosed it or not?

The day you leave the UK and the day you return to the UK are not counted.

Every full day out of the UK counts as absence, irrespective of what you are doing away from the UK.
"You don't need to tell us the trips which are 2 days or less".
This relates to the scenario when you leave the UK say for France on Monday and return to the UK on Tuesday.
It doesn't apply to trips when you are abroad, those are full days away from the UK.

This is helpful, thank you. I'll request for an amendment in my cover letter.
