No status update after biometrics appointment

I provided my biometrics 3 days ago. When I check my status on TLScontact page, 'Appointment Attended' stage looks not completed yet. Is this normal?

Separetely, I have not received any acknowledgement message from UKVI regarding transfer of my application to them after biometrics. Does UKVI/Home Office send an email after the biometrics appointment regarding receipt of documents?

This is a known issue with TLS contact. UKVI doesn't send emails acknowledging receipt of biometrics.

If there is an issue with your biometrics UKVI would let you know.

Hi ,
I had the same issue attended the appointment on 8th of Nov but the TLS page shows the status as an upcoming appointment and because I suspected this would happen after reading many comments online I asked the staff and he just brushed me off saying it will get updated and you will get an email.
I have called UKVI and the person said if you have attended the appointment it should be ok and nothing to worry. But when it you used to the previous service provider it was accurate on every stage .

Docs uploaded at TLSContact + Biometrics done - 4 Nov 2024

I received only the biometrics collected email from TLsContact on 4th Nov and nothing else. The status on TLSContact still shows appointment attended. I just called UKVI and they responded 'status will change soon and keep checking your emails'. Good luck!

TSL is purely there to collect the biometrics and maybe upload your documents (for a fee on top of biometrics fee).
When you call UKVI helpline you speak to an outsourced call centre which has no direct access to anything, especially not case workers or the processing done by their commercial partner TLS.
