Seeking Advice on British Passport Application for My Child born in UK

Hi All,

I need some advice regarding our current situation. We are planning to apply for a British passport for my child who was born in the UK. Below are the key details:

- Child’s Date of Birth (DOB): 27-Aug-2024
- Date of ILR Granted to My Wife: 02-Nov-2024
- Date of Birth Certificate Issued in UK for Child: 25-Nov-2024

My Question:
Can we apply for a British passport directly for our child, or should we first apply under Form MN1 to register the child as a British citizen and then apply for a British passport?

I’d really appreciate your advice on the best approach.

Register child first (MN1) - child is not British yet as born before parent gained ILR.
Passport requires British citizenship.

What document should I provide for above requirment.

For both that is the birth certificate showing parents’ names.
