First Adult Passport after naturalisation - more than 4 weeks

Hi,

I've sent out my application online for my first UK passport after naturalisation together with my daughter's.

She's got her passport within 1.5 weeks and for mine, it's still showing 'document received'.

I've got an 'X' at the end of my PEX reference number and also I had to send a full colour scan of my current passport due to work travelling. Not sure which one is causing the delay.

It's been 4 weeks since I submitted my application and there's no way to chase. Wonder if anyone has experienced the same?

Thanks.

No way to chase?? Telephone?

Just call the HMPO number and ask and if not satisfied, ask to speak to a supervisor!

I've checked with HMPO live chat agents and they've been saying that my application is being handled and I will get contacted if they need more information from myself for the last 1.5 weeks... They said there is nothing I can do to speed things up. The status hasn't been changed since 14 Nov till now.....
