Hi all, i am rewriting this as original post got deleted - possibly for using a fictional TV character name as an example

For context

Passport Name: John Example E Doe
Naturalisation Atlas Email & ceremony invite: John Example Example Doe

As you can see from examples above, my original nationality passport name uses an abbreviation for the second middle name, however, in the Naturalisation Atlas Email & ceremony invite the second middle name is written out, a name that i have never used in my HO applications. I assumed it was translated from the arabic in my passport as it's written out there. The bio appointment worker did ask me to approve a name amendment on the application form to reflect my natioanlity passport as i only submitted it with my First and Last Name only.

My question is, will this cause any issues when i apply for the British passport? or is it not an issue that the second middle name is abbreviated in the passport but not on the Naturalisation certificate?

Thanks,

As a general rule the passport office won't issue a passport in a different name to the one in your foreign passport.

However, of the middle name is written as an initial because there is not enough space to write your full name you may be issued a passport with an observation that will detail your other passport and nationality details.
Otherwise, you will be asked to align your name in the foreign passport.
