Hi I’m a dual Australian and British citizen. I got British citizenship using form UKF.

I may have to travel before I can get my British passport due to an emergency situation.

I was planning on getting the passport but may have to go at any time.

My partner and I are moving to the UK but due to the emergency may have to move sooner then planned.

Can I enter the UK on my Australian passport and British citizenship certificate?

Will they see me as a citizen?

Will I get refused?

A BC cannot be refused entry to the UK. It might take a few minutes longer but you will be admitted. Explain the passport situation and show the certificate. Nothing to worry about.
NB You are a citizen- a border official can’t decide you’re not!

Use the e-gates, no issue at all.

The only note I add here is that if you travel on or after Jan 8th you will need to apply for an ETA otherwise you risk being denied boarding by the airline.
As part of the ETA you may be asked about all your nationalities.

I completely agree with this. No British passport or CoE, no getting on the plane to the UK anymore.

It should also be pointed out that the British naturalisation certificate is only of use at the UK border.
Airline or foreign border staff wouldn't recognise it as it's not a travel document.
