Hi, I also have a question regarding British citizenship for a child.

My son is 14, born in the UK and has never left the country or held a passport. I did not have ILR at the time of his birth so I have to register him as a British citizen first. I am currently completing the Form T application and it has asked for his country of nationality, but I am unsure how to proceed because he was born in the UK and has no other nationality. I would appreciate any help possible.

What are the parents non uk citizenship?

His father is a British citizen but I did not put him on my child’s birth certificate nor is he in his life.

I am from Trinidad. I Have ILR, but I didn’t have it when he was born.

Then your child has likely received nationality from Trinidad from you. Declare that as current child's nationality.
