Hi all,

On my referee forms, I labelled and glued my photos, wrote my own name and the date at the end, then each of my referees hand wrote their names and signed by hand, on that date. Is this acceptable? From reading other posts here, I understand that the referees' signatures are compared to signatures on their passports so that is important, but is the handwriting for the names/dates also relevant? I also read that others filled in the forms digitally and referees provided e-signatures, names/dates would be digitally typed in those cases.

Please advise whether you think this is an issue and would I need to re-do the referee forms? Or is it not significant and do you recommend I proceed with submitting my application? Thank you in advance.

You could have done it all digitally. Handwritings are not checked, only signatures matter. No issue, scan the forms and upload them.

Hi thank you for your quick reply, I will proceed and upload these scanned copies. I will post updates if I encounter any issues.

I only found out that digital signatures are acceptable since these were already prepared, but good to know for the future!

I am writing to provide an update, my application was approved without any issues or questions about documents provided. Thank you again for the help!
