Hello. I have a question regarding relatives. For example: Can the Cousins Partner (not husband) be considered as relative? Can this partner be used as referee to apply for British Citizen?
P. S. I have read that relatives are counted by blood or by marriage! So partner is not by blood and not married with cousin. So is this partner counting as relative?

For now yes. But each of them is independent that property owner.

Then it is not suitable. Referees must live at a different address than the applicant.

Don't confuse, please. Applicant and referee lives on different addresses. The question was different.

Lets see this in more simple way.
Mary has cousin Helen. Helen has partner Tom. Helen and Tom are not married. Tom is not their bloodline as well. Can Tom be a referee for Mary?

Apologies, I had misunderstood the structure. As cousin and referee are not married this should be OK.

Called to the citizenship and nationality enqueries, one person said that this unmarried Partner is counting as a relative, second said they don't know this information and suggested the Immigration advisor..... So how is it?

the helpline is not staffed by caseworkers, often they give incorrect advice. as they are unmarried according to the guidance they are not related to the applicant, but other members may weigh in or the applicant can look for another referee.

Can you explain please about qualifying period when applying for the British Citizen.
For example today is 07.04.2025.
So which dates are qualifying period? 5 yeas ago and 3 years ago? Like 07.04.2020 and 07.04.2022?
So on which dates I must be present in the UK?

Help me please. I can not find in the Internet Referee Declaration Forms to download for Referees.
As much as I understand I need: 1st referee declaration form. and 2nd referee declaration form.
The only I found is Whole Citizenship application form, where on Page 20 is information or referee declaration. But there are mentioned data on page 3 also I need to cut this part somehome out.
Can please anyone give a link where to download acceptable Referee Form? Thank you.
p.s. also question - The picture of the applicat must be a Passport picture? Or is it possible to take picture of yourself by youself and just cut it 3x4cm?

You can use a picture taken by yourself if it respects the requirements of a passport picture (you can take a larger digital picture and crop it).

It says: "You will be able to upload COPIES of your documents on our commercial partner's provider."
1.What does they mean by COPIES? Photo pictures from my phone or Scans? I mean, can I just take a picture of the document and upload?
2. If I will take a photo pictures instead of scanning the documents, can my documents be rejected just because of this?
3.Does they ask you to send your passport to them? And for how long?
4. Can the applicant travel abroad for short holiday after applying for British Citizenship? Can the trip affect the decision about citizenship?

Scan to PDF is the normal approach.

No as long as documents are legible. Ideally use PDF format and scan.

Good Afternoon. Could you please help me with few following questions?
1. Which date is considered as an applying Application date? (the date you paid and uploaded your documents or the date you give your Biometrics).
2. If after the uploading and submitting the documents, (the biometric is not done yet) I have got more documents which I would need to provide to them, how could I do it?
3. What is better to do, try to reach them as soon as possible to provide them more documents (payslips) or wait until they asks for the documents themselves?

1. The date you submitted and paid the application.
2. Documents can be uploaded up to 24 hours before the biometrics appointment. There's an option to pay for a document scan/upload service on the day of the appointment but I personally think that it's not necessary in most cases.
3. Payslips are not required for naturalisation. Citizenship applications require minimum documents, no need to upload unnecessary evidence, these will not make any difference in the process.

Why not needed? Payslips and P60 are the only proof I have been living in the Uk for about 5 years (They don't accept Bank statements and Bills).
What do you mean by "all necessary evidence" to proof 5 years in the UK if not Payslips?
