Hi good afternoon all

British naturalisation Applied 18 February 2025 bio 25 February 2025
Got call from home office at 03/05/25 asking about birth name gave it birth name just one spell mistake as compared to my marriage certificate only one spell mistake when they rang up they ask which one would you like to add at your British citizenship letter . We gave it same spell as we used it at our all United Kingdom visa application.. she replied and said ok I will add on into your file
How long it will take to get approval letter.
Did they ask any further document like birth certificate yes or no
Is this common these days or not ?

You are still under the six months target for completion - you may be lucky your approval will arrive "soon".

Nothing new - UKVI can and sometimes do ask for additional information or documents as they see fit.
